Savioke has created a hotel delivery robot that aids hotel workers in their daily tasks. The Savioke Relay Robot lives up to its name as it autonomously relays items from hotel staff to their guests. The Relay Robot (aka Dash) has reduced item delivery time from 15 minutes to 6 minutes.

Relay is simple to operate – the hotel staff loads the items ordered into the robot, enter the room number and select go. The elevator is called and the robot is taken to the floor where the order needs to be delivered. When the robot gets to the selected floor, it calls the guest to let them know that the delivery has arrived. After the guest has received the order they rate the service that the robot has given them and it returns to it’s charging dock. The robot uses WIFI and 3D cameras to navigate its way around the hotel.

Several hotels, in the USA, have decided to use Savioke’s Relay Robot.
